Description
There are many ways to attach a daisy chain to a harness. With this method, the knot will not crunch the leg and torso webbing of your harness together every time you hang from it allowing for much better comfort. How to do it
Wear your harness and buckle it as you normally would. Then pass one end of your daisy chain where you would tie the rope to your harness (follow the instructions of the harness manufacturer carefully while doing this, see figure 1 as an example). I suggest you pass the end with the twisted webbing, but it really does not matter. We will call the end you choose A.Then pass end A of your daisy chain (the end you just threaded in your harness) through the third loop in your daisy. Now pass the other end of the daisy chain in the loop of end A as shown in figure 2.
Pull your knot together until it resembles a mushroom as in figure 3. Note that even if the suture points on your daisy were to fail, the knot will not open.
Always remember to inspect your daisy chain after each use and undo all knots on it to make sure it is in good conditions.
